AOC Guide: General Classes abilities, Combo attacks and Spells in Age of Conan

Some abilities are shared by all classes, while some other are class specific.
Your character abilities, combo attacks and spells increase with its level, so remember to keep an eye on your ability and spell lists.

Common abilities to all Classes in Age of Conan:

- Resting
This abilitiy allows you to rest, increasing the rate of out of combat health, stamina, and mana regeneration. It cannot be used in combat and stops you from performing any other action.

- Path of Asura
This ability teleports you back to your bound area. Speak to Wayfarers of Asura throughout Hyboria to bind to a new location. You cannot teleport in combat.

- Hide
This ability allows you to move around without being detected by ennemies. Your level of "sneak" and chances to be undetected increase with the number of points you allocate to this ability.

- Search
Increase your chances to detec a nearby ennemy that is hiding

- Toggle Combat
This ability toggles combat mode. You can also use \ as the shortcut key or drag the ability in your hot bar.
Directional attacks are bound to your 1,2 and 3 key as a default stting but you can choose to move them as you wish.


Combo Attacks

Every class in Age of Conan can use combo attacks, that you will find by clicking on the combo box on the left of your screen.
These combo attacks increase your DPS level in combat, allowing you to combine different spells in a specific order. Combos differ from class to class, but they all increase with the character level. They are divided up by level 1-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60-80.
Drag the combo you want to use  in your hotbar for an easy access.

Spells

Your available Spells are listed in the Spell box tab in the right up bar of your screen.
they are divided by friendly / hostile spells and change while character up in level.
Friendly Spells are buffs and healing effects, while hostile spells are used againts ennemies. Drag the spells in your hot bar for easy access.
(remember that you can add 2 additional bar from your interface tab through F10)

You can also acquire spells through scrolls. You can buy them through diverse scroll vendors in Hyboria and double click on the scroll to learn the new spell.
