There are four types of currency in Age of Conan:  tin, copper, silver and gold. Here is how you count them:

1 gold=100 silver
1 silver=100 copper
1 copper=100 tin

Enemies in Age of Conan drop this currency. You can also earn from questing and selling items early on, with crafting serving as another way of earning cash for more advanced players or those who are inclined to take up the trade.

Buying and Selling

You'll find all sorts of NPC traders specialized in trading specific types of goods like weapons, potions, food, armor etc... Though scattered around the world, you'll mostly find them in cities or camps. Talk to the vendor, it will open up a trade window, where you can check what they have for sale, the item description and effect. You can also sell the items you have in your inventory to get cash.

Trading With Other Players

You can trade with other players by selecting a player next to you, and click on the Circled arros icon that should appear at the bottom of your screen. You can also use the Trade option in the menu.
The system works like most other games like WoW or DaoC where making changes to the trade after you accepted it will cancel the exchange and reset the trade window.
This is meant to prevent players from cheating as you'll have a chance to look at the trade once again before accepting it.



Using Tradeposts

Tradeposts are where players will do most of their buying and selling, similar to the auction houses in other games like WoW. Tradeposts are found in regular cities as well as player cities.
By using ta tradespot, you''ll have the option to use your bank, mailbox ans marketplace at the same time. You can then set an item "for sale" and wait for someone to buy it. As there is no auction system in Age of Conan, the trading system is faster and easier than in some other games. No wait to get your item, or your money.
